East Sussex Integrated
Sustainable Community Strategy Consultation
20 November 2007 to 12 February 2008
What is Pride of Place?
Pride of Place is the Integrated Sustainable Community Strategy for East Sussex. It has been developed by the six Local Strategic Partnerships in East Sussex (Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes District, Rother, Wealden and East Sussex), in partnership with their Local Authorities.
Pride of Place sets out a shared vision for East Sussex in 2026. The strategy contains our countywide strategic objectives and priorities to help us achieve the vision and improve the quality of life for people in all parts of the county. There are detailed sustainable community strategy chapters for each of the Districts and Boroughs within the county, setting out a clear local vision, local objectives and local priorities.
We want your views
On behalf of the six Local Strategic Partnerships in the county, Wealden LSP is asking for your views on the draft Pride of Place. The strategy can be viewed or downloaded by clicking on the links below, and you can tell us your views by completing the online questionnaire.
If you have specific comments or queries about the Wealden chapter, please contact Wealden LSP through Gill Cameron-Waller at lsp@wealden.gov.uk or ring 01323 443745.
